This popular series of edits from Iorga reaches the fourth volume here and of course it does so in winning style.

The freshest Romanian Edits release features five tracks and all of them are essentially lost vestiges of (not so) well-known rock and jazz Romanian songs. The entire EP is built on wholly original samples and is structured in two distinct parts.

First half is dedicated to jazz.

The obscure sounds of Popas feature stabbing horns and plenty of freeform jazz with an energy which comes as a jazz fusion bomb that will please any heady crowd.

The 2nd track, Vorbe De Dragoste of Romanian Jazz Queen Aura Urziceanu, becomes a lively sing-along with an oriental signature and stomping funky beats never letting up down low.

The second half of this EP is powered by afro and funk grooves.

Batacanda is that piece that if you dance with your eyes closed it's very possible to wake up in a shamanic world. Kempes vocals in the first half and the violin fiddler chords in the second half mixed with afrobeat tickle all the receptors of the brain.

Călușarii brings a genuine Romanian dance theme and three different beats that sends shivers in the body. It's a magnificently stirring tune to close another solid EP.

The 5th track is the 2nd version for Vorbe De Dragoste.
